I've always been able to dig in heavy on Joey's LPs, mainly those Halfway House, Padded Room and Escape Route tones, but that run of his career always turns grey when you line it up with his Mood Muzik tape series, because they're some of the most complex, introspective autobiographical sounds you're going to mine out of the genre.
We recently heard that Joe was throwing a Mood Muzik box set up for sale on Feb. 21, and to add another package to the deal, he'll be performing two Mood Muzik-dedicated concerts in New York City where he'll be performing the story exclusively in a pair of sets.
The first showcase goes down on Feb. 26, and the second is short after on the 27, so for those die hard Budden fans, attendance is essential. It'll probably be one of the more depressing shows you're going to find considering the topical nature of the series, though it'll be a rare one to catch Joe alone providing the sounds live.
The 100 limited edition boxsets are going to flush out fast, so hit the jump to keep an eye on their release on Feb 21, and travel further at Joe's website to pick up some tickets for the Mood Muzik shows.
