Hasbro is on a role this week! I wrote a piece yesterday about them making a Stretch Armstrong movie and now Columbia Pictures, Happy Madison and Hasbro Inc. are in final talks to develop a live action movie based on the bestselling Hasbro board game, Candy Land. Adam Sandler is attached to star and possibly to write the script with Robert Smigel. Kevin Lima, the director of Enchanted, is attached to direct the project for the studio.
Even though I do not intend to see this movie, but I am amazed by how hard Hasbro is pushing toy themed movies onto the general population.
The real question is what happened to Adam Sandler’s self-respect? Like dear god man! What is wrong with you? I am so embarrassed by you.
