If you know someone who's struggled to manage their World of Warcraft playtime--or if that person is you yourself--you might be interested to see IRL, a new documentary short film by third-year film student and former WoW player Anthony Rosner. The film documents Rosner's introduction to the game and the difficulties he faced while trying to balance his real-world obligations with his in-game obligations. Through heartache and drama, Rosner eventually found the light and put his life back together. I found his journey inspiring and I think you'll appreciate it if you've ever faced a similar challenge or watched one play out nearby:
It's nice to see that after Rosner had his heart crushed and spent thousands of dollars, he managed to turn things around and pick up some IRL hobbies. Kudos to this survivor and strength to those who carry on his fight.
