Sometimes life is tough to handle. As Herman Cain is likely to tell you, should you catch him on an appropriately geeky day, life can be a challenge. Life can seem impossible. And it's never easy when so much is on the line. But, my friends, it could always be worse. You could be a t-rex.
"Wait, what?" you say. "Being a t-rex would be awesome!" you protest. And you're not wrong--if you can't be a velociraptor (clearly the coolest dinosaur), being a t-rex is definitely the next best thing. But look past the gigantic teeth and the badass reputation and think for a second about the reality of dinosaur life. I can't put it any better than that one movie (Meet the Robinsons, I think?) with the t-rex who cried, "I have a big head and little arms!"
Tumblr user Hugh Murphy illustrates the shortcomings of the modern t-rex with his new site T-Rex Trying, a collection of pictures that document a t-rex's struggle to adapt to life in 2012. As you might predict, the t-rex's unique anatomy gets him into all sorts of sad/adorable situations.
Observe:

No shame about downward dog, t-rex. Tony Horton will be the first to tell you that I'm no good at that sh*t, either. See? Now don't you feel better? Good. I thought you might.
