UPDATE: You can listen to "Love Interruption" right now over on jackwhiteiii.com.
It was only a matter of time, I suppose— on his official website, Jack White (a.k.a. the hardest working pasty white man in rock n' roll) has announced the release of Blunderbuss, his debut solo album. The album drops April 24 via White's own Third Man Records and will preceded by first single "Love Interruption"—if you're a lucky subscriber to the Third Man Vault, you can listen to it right here, right now.

The rest of us unlucky jerks will just have to wait until tomorrow, when "Love Interruption" and b-side "Machine Gun Silhouette" are released digitally. (Vinyl heads can grab it on 7" starting February 7.)
No word yet on what we can expect sonically on White's new solo material—he's certainly taken his sweet time about going down the whole solo career road, hasn't he? Between focusing on The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi's Rome and all his production work, I was beginning to think Jack White had just completely forgotten that you're supposed to release a solo album after breaking up your world-famous, beyond-iconic Detroit garage rock duo after six classic LPs.
By the way, Blunderbuss was one of my many high school nicknames. Needless to say, it was never an ordinary bus ride to school with me on board...
