I think I'm going to invent an award for mash-ups. I think that award is going to be called the Reese's Cup. You guys... you guys get it? Reese's...Cup? OK. I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page there. I'd like to introduce this great honor to the world by bestowing today's Reese's Cup on YouTube user Harry Callaghan, a.k.a. Harry101UK. This expert MashOlogist has taken pieces of geek culture and glued them together with space rock gel until they formed the single greatest thing to ever grace the surface of the planet Earth. Or, you know, the surface of YouTube, at least. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a mash-up to savor. This is a fever dream from iconic director Tim Burton after a night of Jammie Dodgers and Portal 2. This is... APERTURE!
I gotta hand it to this guy--"Aperture" is a pretty tough word to say, let alone sing. Somehow, "This Is Halloween" from The Nightmare Before Christmas is a great fit for Valve's brainy puzzle game, and it's great to see awesome Portal 2 media still making the rounds. I'm going to have this in my head for the rest of the day and I'm OK with this.
