Movie posters may not be as important as trailers now that we all have YouTube, but they still create an iconic image for whatever movie they're selling. This, of course, means they are fundamentally dishonest. Nobody would want to see Man On A Ledge if it openly admitted it's own stupidity. That's why we need more people like Ali from The Shiznit, who has helpfully translated some Oscar-bait movie posters into a much more honest format. Here are my favorites:

To be fair, this poster works for any George Clooney movie.

It's really hard to follow all those rape scenes while also reading the subtitles.

I still have no clue what this movie is about.
