Capcom had a little surprise in store for the 10th anniversary of their Gyakuten Saiban (known in English as Ace Attorney) series. At a large event held in the series honor at Tokyo's Mielparque Hall, the lights dimmed, a screen lit up, and the brand new Gyakuten Saiban 5 logo was revealed to a roaring crowd. And... that's it.
What Capcom didn't announce was basically any important details about the game. Where can we play it? Don't know. When can we play it? Can't guess. Will it make the trip West? Not a clue. Still, the series has developed a strong cult following for its innovative gameplay and unique setting, so knowing that another title is on the way is encoruaging.
The event also held a little extra Ace Attorney news, along with another set of questions. The older games in the series will be receiving iOS and Android ports. Well, in Japan at least - there's no word yet on whether or not the English speaking world will get their mobile fix of courtroom adventure.
