Who is f*cking ready for a new season?!? OK, just me I guess. I think this season's cast is pretty good and it will be interesting to see how these old flames work together. I'm sure we'll see a lot of tears, a lot of fighting and a lot of sex. Bring it on. Battle of the exes!
The cast members aren't thrilled to find out the rules and that they will be playing alongside their exes.
"My boyfriend is going to kill me." - Mandi
"I know she's a great competitor, but there's also the fact that I hate her." - Ty
Aneesa and Rachel are the only girl couple and apparently, their relationship didn't end well.
"It was a cute, like, 2003 lesbian, bring the U-Haul on the second date." - Aneesa
Wait, huh? Anyway, I'm throwing it out there right now -- I want CT and Diem back together!
"I hate Dunbar."- Paula
"I'm pretty sure she wants to throw a knife at me." - Dunbar
"This is like the one-night stand you never want to see again." - Sarah
Winners get $150K. Second place get $100K and third place get 40K. TJ introduces "the dome." [insert sex jokes here]. It's the place where all the eliminations will take place. The winning team becomes the "power couple" and gets to vote a couple to compete against the losing team from the competition.
"You like money more than you hate each other, right?"
Well said, TJ. Well said.
They don't waste any time jumping in the pool and getting naked. The "rookie" thing is still in place. Blah Blah. They find photos of people making out and having sex all over the house. Some are cute. Some make me want to stab my eyes out.
I guess Jasmine just woke up and realized that Tyrie is gross.
Meanwhile, CT and Diem are adorable. Flashbacks and sh*t. I can't handle. These two need to get back together.
Competition time. The couples have to transfer honey via their bodies across a balance beam suspended in the air. That's all I get out of the rules. Sorry, guys.
"This is where it could get a little bit freaky." - TJ
TJ is just the best with the one-liners, huh? The couples are "strategizing" about how to touch each other.
"Don't get mad at me. I'm going to molest you." - CT
So romantic. First round, Dustin and Heather kill Paula and Dunbar.
"Mark is just hot. Who wouldn't want to run honey all over that body?" - Robin
No one falls. Except Nate. FAIL. Then, he falls again. Double FAIL. Come on, rookies. Nate and Priscilla are going to the dome first. SURPRISE. Not. Mark and Robin and Johnny and Camilla compete for first place. Johnny and Camilla end up with the win!
Johnny is very chummy with Dustin and Heather all of a sudden. Meanwhile, Wes is paranoid as hell. Johnny and Wes start going at it just like the old days.
Diem is talking to the rookies about her past with CT. It's obvs these two are still in love. She's still mad about him for hooking up with nasty Shauvon. He's still mad that she wasn't at his brother's wake. Ouch.
"I slept with the guy with the biggest mouth in challenge history." - Mandi
OK, Mandi. We know. Johnny chooses Wes and Mandi to compete against Nate and Priscilla. Good sh*t! This will be interesting. Nate is overly confident, which isn't a surprise really. But Wes is known for always winning eliminations.
They play "X knocks the spot," which means they are getting hit by a rotating bar and whoever is left standing, wins. Or something.
Priscilla falls first and it's very obvious that Wes and Mandi are going to win. Nate trips and it's over. It should get interesting with Wes and Johnny now.
CT and Diem start fighting.
"It's in the past. Let's leave it there." - CT
These two kill me.
Grade: 8/10
SumOlogy: Not a bad start to the season, but we definitely want more drama sooner than later.
