I might be the only music critic online who says Jane's Addiction's long-overdue fourth album The Great Escape Artist was the best rock n' roll record of 2011... but that's okay, because everyone else is wrong to think otherwise. Do yourself a huge favor and catch them on tour this spring—in the meantime, though, feast your eyes on the brand new video for album opener "Underground" below.

Looks like a pretty cool place to hang out, as far as pseudo-steampunk underground brothels go. It really wouldn't be a proper Jane's Addiction video with hordes of undressing girls and/or a man or two in drag, so I'm pleased to see they haven't lost their touch in that department. It's also a pleasure to see Perry Farrell rocking a giant hat again, though I don't think I needed to see each individual rib through his borderline translucent pale-ass chest. Overall, nothing ground-breaking, but the mere fact that Jane's Addiction are still here to make music videos at all is reason enough to get excited, right?
