Taylor Armstrong, Ashton Kutcher And Other Celebs That Need A Better Year

As fun as it is to watch celebrities f*ck up regularly, sometimes they mess up too much. It gets to a point where you want to shake some sense into the star. Here are the celebs that really screwed up in 2011 and need a slap of reality for 2012.

10. Maksim Chmerkovskiy

The Dancing with the Stars pro had a horrible year in the ballroom. He let Len Goodman have it after receiving what he considered unfair comments. He fought with fellow dancer Derek Hough over who’s the real star of the show. All that, and he still lacks a mirror ball trophy. If he doesn’t get fired from the show, he needs to work on his personality and pray for a better partner.

9. Lindsay Lohan

If anyone had an awful year, it’s this chick. Between multiple arrests, a stint in rehab and a whole bunch of other s*it, I’m surprised she made it to 2012. That being said, Lohan managed to end the year on a high note, and not her typical marijuana induced one. Her Playboy spread flew off the shelves and at her last probation hearing, the judge saw some major improvement. Maybe she’s finally shaped up.

8. Charlie Sheen

Just because you say you’re winning doesn’t make it true. After suffering a major meltdown in early 2011, Sheen lost his starring role on Two and a Half Men. Even when he tried ot stay out of the limelight, he got dragged in by his equally messed up ex Brook Mueller. But things are starting to look good for the star. He spent the final days of the year vacationing with his ex wife Denise Richards and their two children. Will he finally find love in 2012? Probably not.

7. Scarlett Johansson

It’s hard to tell when Johansson is upset, since she always has that angry look on her face. This year, however, she actually had some reasons to pout. Over the summer, she and her ex-husband Ryan Reynolds finalized their divorce. While she moved on to the skeletal Sean Penn, Reynolds started seeing Blake Lively. If seeing her ex with a hottie wasn’t hard enough, some creeper hacked into her phone and released nude pictures of the actress. Sorry Scar Jo. This was so not your year.

6. Christina Aguilera

Although her new show was a hit, everything else was a miss for the pop star. She started off 2011 by botching the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Then she dealt with a DUI and all the negative attention that comes with it. Her growing figure didn’t help with her already negative image. Maybe Aguilera should stay low for the next year.

5. Jenelle Evans

Where do we start with this broken down teen mom. Well after losing custody of her child, Evans decided dating criminals and partying was the best way to win him back. When that didn’t work, she got arrested for verbal and physical assault on multiple occasions. She somehow managed to escape serving time, but she may not be so lucky in 2012.

4. Russell Brand

He had a great thing going, and threw it all away. After sobering up and starting to become someone the media tolerates, Brand screwed things up when he filed for divorce from Katy Perry during the holidays. Is he some new-age, super high Scrooge? I mean, at least wait till the Christmas joy dies out before leaving your gorgeous wife. Ever since the split, he’s been a Grade-A a*shole to Perry (refusing to leave L.A. and removing his wedding band weeks before the split). He needs to do some major damage control to regain any popularity this year.

3. Ashton Kutcher

It’s one thing to divorce Demi Moore. It’s another things to cheat on her with a 20-something. Rather than beg for forgiveness or apologize, Kutcher fled the country with a Moore look-a-like over the holiday season. Dude, where’s your class?

2. Taylor Armstrong

Looks the life of a housewife isn’t always so glamorous. In the spring, Armstrong and her husband Russell faced a multi-million dollar lawsuit from a former business partner. Nothing like losing money to add stress to an already struggling couple. In July, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star filed for divorce. A month later, she received word that Russell hanged himself. Since his death, the reality star has become addicted to alcohol and may be spending her year in a rehab center. Let's hope this brings her the sanity she needs.

1. Kris Humphries

Come on folks. You can’t help but feel bad for the guy. He did everything he could to win over the Kardashian clan, but his efforts went unrewarded. After 72 days, Kim filed for divorce from her basketball hubby. Ever since, she has dragged his name through the mud and made sure to ruin his reputation. Granted, his attitude on the show hasn’t helped, but can’t she give the guy a break? Hopefully a finalized divorce will lead to a more peaceful 2012.
