Craig James is a hero in the SportsOlogy office, but not just because he gives Texans the best chance to fight back against the oppressive Obama regime. No, Craig James is a hero here because he fights the good fight no matter the circumstances. Even when most people don't know he exists, he vows to press forward, undaunted by the obstacle and grateful for the challenge.
Like James, we at SportsOlogy fight the good fight even when polls show that 70% of Texans don't know who we are (via FanNation). A Public Policy Polling survey published in the Houston Chronicle shows that only 30% of Texans recognize James' name, and of those 30%, only 11% have a positive views of him.
In political terms, a 30% name recognition isn't so bad... but polling at 4% overall is. But Craig James shouldn't feel bad; his beliefs resonate with us in ways he can never know. On this very day 67 years ago, another Texan, Lyndon Johnson, came from 41 percentage points down in the polls to capture the governor's office in Texas. He later escalated the Conflict in VietNAM to unprecented levels, once again emulating the American ideal of f*cking with people who have no idea who you are.
But our worlds fail us. As Craig James would say, "America is great (beat) because Americans are GOOD."
