Presenting the new face of Ann Taylor, the
eternally chipper Kate Hudson. And though the new appointment has totally
shoved Demi Moore out of the spotlight, Kate is claiming it was in fact Ashton Kutcher’s ex who inspired her to
take on the role.
She tells InStyle magazine, who have unveiled some gorgeous behind-the-scenes
images from Ann Taylor’s forthcoming Spring campaign, that is was Demi who
managed to pull Kate out of “Mommyland.”
“I remember seeing this beautiful picture
of Demi Moore, and then I thought, ‘Wow, she looks so beautiful.’ And it was
[in] an Ann Taylor store. It felt like a bit of a sign that it really caught my
eye and I thought she looked great.”
Becoming the face of the women’s wear label
has pushed Kate into extremely good company (all bar Katie Holmes, let’s be
honest). Previous Ann Taylor starlets include Angelina Jolie, Naomi Watts,
Heidi Klum, Katie Holmes and Demi.
Kate also gave InStyle’s readers some
personal fashion advice: “You should always wear what you look comfortable in.
It needs to make you walk different. The second you feel yourself walking
different, you know you should buy it. If your back is a little straighter and
your shoulders come down, it means it is for you.”
Sound advice but please avoid those hideous
