I don't think there was a single hip-hop head out there that wasn't asking for more when we got Gangster Gibbs and Madlib's joint Thuggin' EP last year, becauase the mesh of styles built up some sounds the genre's always looking for and introduced the proof that we'll be seeing a longterm relationship between MadGibbs.
It's been awhile, but after a long quiet and Freddie's Cold Day In Hell mixtape, we've got the music video for the single "Thuggin'" that, at least by my assumptions, is live footage in HD rather than a mock day-in-the-life of Freddie Gibbs depiction. I talked to the guy once, and have no problem believing that it's all true.
There's an asinine Scarface jacket, break-ins, ass, vandalism, robbery, drugs, guns, cooking, snorting, smoking, and family time--everything you're going to get from your expectations and more. I could talk more, but I'm eating right now, so just watch the video.
