First, you should know you can accomplish this look with a temporary quick fix - clip-in hair! Nearly every mall has a kiosk with every celebrity-endorsed hairpiece and they add extra hair that can create this heavy, 60s inspired look. You can opt for temporary clip-in bangs or a full piece to add volume as needed. Apply clip-in hair by starting at the back of your head at the occipital bone. Apply two pieces one on either side, catching your hair as close the scalp as possible. Apply the next section above and between the first two. For fullness and length, apply one piece on either temple, but be sure not to angle these pieces and keep them at least two inches from the face. Tousle and finger comb into place. Finish with a light all over mist of Davines Wizard No. 9 Structuring Mist for a strong yet flexible hold that doesn’t’ build up or flake.
Complete the feeling by lining your eye with Aqua Creamliner by Make Up Forever. Start in the center of the lid and press down hard for a thicker line. Travel out to the outer corner then go back to the inner corner.
