Life feels a little less interesting without LCD Soundsystem in it anymore, right? Well, here's something to get excited about: the trailer for SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS (you know, that film directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace that documents the days and hours leading up to and following the band's final concert at Madison Square Garden) has hit the internet and, yeah, holy damn... I still really, really miss this band.

Yes, two minutes of "All My Friends" is enough to devolve me into a gushing emotional yes. And yes, frontman James Murphy and pop culture philosopher extraordinaire Chuck Klosterman (also known as yours truly's creative hero) provide the film's narration. Frankly, I can't think of any reasons NOT to get really, really f@#king excited about this movie, but if you can think of some (or you're as psyched to see it as I am), please hit up our comments section below.
SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS premieres on January 22 at the Sundance Film Festival.
