It seems like when Lindsay Lohan gets just a little bit ahead, something comes along to knock her back down. She is set to finish up her court ordered community service soon and had hoped that would be the end of her legal troubles. Unfortunately, her past is coming back to haunt her.
First, there is the lawsuit she is facing regarding a 2010 car accident and now the IRS is accusing the star of owing back taxes from 2009. The official document claims that she owes a staggering $93,701.57 to the Internal Revenue Service. The amount of money she owes in taxes is more than most people make in a year. Lohan, though, should have no problem paying the money owed, considering she reportedly received $1 million to pose nude for Playboy.
While she hasn't had an acting gig in awhile (though she is rumored to be up for a few interesting roles!), she has been doing a lot of work aside from the Playboy gig. She has been posing for ad campaigns including one for designer Philipp Plein. It will be pretty hard for Lohan to claim she can't afford to pay the debt, but in the unlikely event that she does refuse to pay, she risks having her assets seized by the government.
Lindsay Lohan has not yet responded to these new claims.
