Former bad girl Lindsay Lohan is finally getting her life back on track. She is an avid tattoo fan and decided to mark this significant turning point in her life with some fresh ink. The actress had the words "Live Without Regrets" tattooed on her left wrist with a small heart accompanying the simple cursive writing.
Of course, this is not at all out of character for LiLo who, in the past, has had words and lyrics permanently drawn on her body. These tattoos seem to correspond with a significant event in her life. For instance, she got her first quotation tattoo that read "breathe" in 2006 after suffering an asthma attack.
In 2009, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson called their relationship quits. The heart-broken actress, who is also a big fan of Marilyn Monroe (as evident from her Playboy spread), had one of the icons quotes inked on her body following the split. "I restore myself when I'm alone" can be seen on her right wrist.
Many were confused by her September 2011 lyrical tattoo that featured lyrics from a Billy Joel song. "Clear as a crystal sharp as a knife, I feel like I'm in the prime of my life" is etched across the right side of her rib cage. This particular tattoo signified her focus on getting her life in order.
Since her late 2011 tattoo, Lindsay Lohan has demonstrated that she intends on turning her life around. She has been diligently working on completing her community service and keeping herself out of trouble. Could her new tattoo truly signify that LiLo acknowledges her past and has learned from it? Only time will tell.
