To put it simply, I’m a nineteen-year-old blogger with an unhealthy adoration for aesthetics and online shopping. I’ll be sharing my tips, must haves, and weekly blogger girl problems as I mourn the loss of my paycheck. If you need a daily fix, you can find more of my musings here.

It looks like we survived the maddess of the holidays and made it to 2012. After only a few days in, news and products are rolling in faster than I can type. What better way to spend that extra Christmas cash than to indulge in some of this season's sweetest items? I've rounded up everything from cotton candy to the thirteen year old gems that eat it. Cash that check from your grandmother already and enjoy!
1. Elle Fanning's February Teen Vogue Cover
I'm not ashamed to say that I'm a little bit obsessed with Dakota Fanning's kid sister, Elle. I clearly have no shame whatsoever if I don't mind admitting that I do enjoy Teen Vogue every once in a while and that I was secretly counting down the days until Elle could nab her own cover. If you haven't seen the photos, gifs, or slightly jealous text posts flooding your Tumblr dashboard yet, Elle looks absolutely lovely in Teen Vogue's February issue. Go ahead and pick it up just to fawn over the fact that the younger Fanning will clearly never go through an "awkward phase".
2. Essie's bling collection
Toss out your old nail polish from 2011 and pick up a couple of Essie's newest shades. My personal favorite is "Size Matters", because it does.
3. Jason Wu for Target
Pictures from both the campaign and lookbook have been released regarding Jason Wu's highly talked about Target collection. With wallet friendly prices, I know I'll be snatching up the black and white satchel in due time. Check out the preview here and get in line! The collection is due in stores February 5th.
4. Cotton candy trousers
Pastels, sorbet, cotton candy colors - they're everywhere. It's like I woke up one morning and walked into a carnival hosted by Tim Walker and Mulberry. With colored jeans on trend again, you can't really go wrong with J. Crew's latest toothpick jean. I'll have them in every color, please.
5. Lana Del Rey's debut album
All anybody can really talk about right now is Lana Del Rey's lips and overnight it-girl status. The internet's new favorite is releasing her first album at the end of the month (my birthday, to be exact) under Interscope Records. Click here to pre-order the album via Amazon.
6. Christian Cota x Aldo boots
I last mentioned Christian Cota's collaboration with Aldo some months ago, and it looks like there's only a couple more pairs available until they're sold out completely. As an owner of the Laremont boot myself, I can reveal that they're a sure way to toughen up that girly-girl appeal that Spring puts on all of us. Hurry up and snatch your size before they're gone!
7. Macaroons on your wrist
Let me apologize now for the excessive amount of pink and other pretty pastels that this post may include. Blame Phillip Lim's flawless spring collection or the recent Louis Vuitton ads, not me. This bracelet is too much of a beauty to not include. The price is a little steep, but it's got a lovely vintage appeal to it that'll last throughout many seasons to come.
8. Circle shade cat-eye hybrid
Whoever said circle shades were the new cat eye clearly didn't think about combining the two. What's that saying? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I feel like Elle Fanning would approve of this purchase.
9. Satchels on satchels on satchels
Oops, more pastels (and satchels). We can't all afford Mulberry, and this ASOS version of the scalloped satchel seems cute enough to make due.
10. Silk is the fabric of the season
With warm weather right around the corner (and then some), silk is a fabric that everybody should invest in. Not only is it cool and weather appropriate, but the print on this Madewell blouse is cute enough to picnic both in and on.
11. Miuccia Prada doesn't eat candy, but wears it instead
After endorsing this product multiple times, I finally got around to purchasing it myself. Not only do you get more than enough bang for your buck, but the scent is long-lasting and quite addicting. Perfect for winter and spring to come!
12. Shoemint by Rachel Bilson and Steve Madden
If you haven't heard, Rachel Bilson is the newest addition to the Beachmint franchise, joining the ranks of Kate Bosworth and the Olsen twins. As an avid Beachmint and shoe lover, I will say that this collaboration is it's best yet. For $79 you can get a pair of shoes crafted by Steve Madden and approved by Bilson. It doesn't get much better than that.
