We all can't have a Chevy Chase style Christmas Vacation.
During a holiday getaway with his wife and kids, Nick Cannon was rushed to the hospital after experiencing kidney pains. He and his wife announced this morning that the America's Got Talent host suffered a mild kidney failure. The couple is trying to make the best out of a bad situation, and stay positive through the whole ordeal.
"We're doing OK but we're stranded in Aspen," Carey told US Weekly. "I know, we could be in a lot worse places, but the truth is as long as we're together, we're OK." Doctors, however, tried to separate the two while treating Cannon, but Carey refused to be away from her husband. Carey Tweeted a photo of her and the hubby earlier today to assure fans that he's ok.
Although he's recovering, Carey asks that folks wish the best for Cannon.
"I'm not trying to make light out of the situation because it's a serious moment that's very tough on all of us," Carey wrote on her official website. "So please keep us and our family in your prayers."
