What's the ultimate way to ring in the new year? With some new bling of course.
Rather than kiss his girlfriend at midnight, LeBron James got down on one knee and popped the question. Not a bad trade if you ask me. The Miami Heat player proposed to his long time girlfriend Savannah Brinson on Saturday evening. The two attended a private dinner at Remy Martin V in South Beach. But they weren't alone. Friends of the couple, including Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, Lance Bass and Jamie Lynn Sigler watched as James asked his girlfriend to become his wife.
The couple met in high school and began dating at the age of 16. During their ten year relationship they had two children, LeBron James Jr. and Bryce Maximus James.
Here's to happy couple. May your life be free from scandals.
