To put it simply, I’m a nineteen-year-old blogger with an unhealthy adoration for aesthetics and online shopping. I’ll be sharing my tips, must haves, and weekly blogger girl problems as I mourn the loss of my paycheck. If you need a daily fix, you can find more of my musings here.
With New Year's Eve around the corner, all things glitter, sequin, leather, and black are on my mind. I believe there's an unwritten rule that women should sparkle on NYE. If I managed to magically step into the glitter pumps from Miu Miu's Fall 2011 show on the night of the 31st, I would ask nothing of 2012. Who wouldn't want to bring in the new year with Miuccia? Thought so. For my last post of 2011, I'm putting together an extravaganza of outfits to help feed your sartorial hunger. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

If plans permit, this outfit is almost identical to what I'll be wearing come Saturday. However, I'm knotting the maxi skirt at my knee, and my "Chanel bag" is more of a mini quilted vintage crossbody from the '90s. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'll work with whatever I've got.

With the dreamy Miu Miu heels in tow, this outfit is sure to get some twice-overs. The glitter and calf hair pumps aren't the only show stoppers, though. The vintage velvet clutch and the full leather skirt mix together so well with the complementing blouse.

A red dress for the girl that wants to really stand out. To nobody's surprise, I included an Armani clutch covered in sequins. A classic heel and coordinating jewelry should balance the bold outfit out enough to help from overwhelming everybody else in the room.

If you couldn't tell, this outfit was inspired by the always edgy Elin Kling. Any minimalist gurus should take note: all it takes to complete an outfit are a pair of strappy heels. The Acne jeans and Rick Owens tunic probably don't hurt, either.

For all of you celebrating in a warm climate, opt for a white shift dress, a sequin clutch, and a bright heel. You should also remember to celebrate the fact that you're bringing in the new year in normal temperatures, unlike some of us layered in tights.
I hope my selections kick your outfit making into high gear and that all of you celebrate New Year's Eve feeling beautiful and sparkly. If you have any last minute questions and need a tip or two, feel free to tweet me @chelseabellls. If not, see you in 2012!
