I must have missed the memo that Psychiatric Wards were the it place to set your music video in 2011—to it's credit, though, blink-182's brand new clip for "After Midnight" is a hell of a lot shorter than Lady Gaga's "Marry The Night". The songs if one of if not my definite favorite off their new album Neighborhoods (out now, duh)— check out the Isaac Rentz-directed clip below.
Looks like Mr. Rentz took the "it's driving me crazy" line pretty literally-- It's a bit of a Girl, Interrupted meets that scene in The Breakfast Club where they sneak out of the library mash-up, which seems to fit the song's wistful, youthful spirit. Semi-crazy girls with Mia Farrow haircuts? Super hot. Whatever Tom De Longe is wearing on his head... not so much. The love story is ultra cute, but I think the overnight wards should start paying a little closer attention to their patients... they don't even show up until 3:19! Good help must really be hard to find these days.
