Love is in the air at Lady Antebellum's recording studio. People magazine announced today that band member Dave Haywood proposed to his girlfriend this week, and he did it in such a sweet way.
According to the article, the guitarist spent the day transforming his girlfriend's house into a winter wonderland. When he picked up his girlfriend Kelli Cashiola from work, he blindfolded her and then brought her home to reveal a special decoration: "will you marry me" written in lights on the front of her house. Of course, the VP of Marketing/Brand Management for Warner Music Nashville said yes. I mean, she'd be crazy not to after the world's cutest proposal. The couple has been friends for five years, but they did not go public with their relationship until last month at the Country Music Awards.
Haywood is the last of his band mates to find everlasting love. Two years ago, lead singer Charles Kelley married his then fiance Cassie McConnell in a civil ceremony. In July of this year, the band's only female member Hillary Scott said yes to her boyfriend Chris Tyrrell.
The couple has yet to set a date for the wedding, but one assumes it will be after Scott's ceremony. Unless they do a double wedding, which would be so Brady Bunch!
Here's to the happy couple that can now celebrate the holidays as future husband and wife.
