Well it looks like Glee has officially gone down the s-itter. Ryan Murphy has hired a guest star so annoying, she makes me want Gwyneth Paltrow back.
TV Guide reports today that Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will guest-star on the Fox show. During last night's episode of Watch What Happens Live, Glee stars Lea Michele and Chris Colfer let it slip that the reality star would appear in upcoming episodes. The stars said Leakes will take on the role of Roz Washington, McKinley High's new swim coach.
Once the news hit the airwaves, the housewife took to Twitter to share the news with the world.
"Running through the house screaming Gleeeeee! Coach Roz Washington is gonna get that Sue Sylvester! I'm so proud of myself!"
Being a fan of both shows, this news breaks my heart in a million different ways.
As a Housewives fanatic, I don't understand why anyone would want to put Leakes on their show. She's just a foul mouth b-tch with a God awful weave. If you're going to hire a reality star, at least hire one with a fan base and some type of talent. As a former Gleek, I can't comprehend why Murphy has lowered his standards for guest stars. Remeber when he hired talented people like Neil Patrick Harris and Kristin Chenoweth? What happend to the quality stars, plots, and songs that made me fall in love with this show.
I hate to say it, but this guest star could be the one that makes me turn off Glee forever.
