We Ask, They Tell: Celebrity Ologies With Kelsey Chow, Jonathan Kite And Malese Jow

On Dec 16, 2011

Ology is all about passions. It's about creating the passions that you love and letting everyone else in on exactly what they are. Celebrities have their own and whether it be from an interview or some minor chit chat, those entertainers let Ology know just what they enjoy doing when there not on a television set or behind a mic. We usually ask for three and get to see a more personal side in the process. So check in every Friday from here on out to see the favorites from your very own favorites. You may be surprised to see what you find out!

Kelsey Chow - One Tree Hill

Well I should say I’m an HBO Ology girl. Off the top of my head, I’m a music festival Ology girl, and I’m a school Ology girl. I think even taking time off from school actually made me more appreciative of my education and when I was back it made it better.

Jonathan Kite - 2 Broke Girls

Well, there's a couple. I really like FashionOlogy, because of the different things it reflects in the world, and I think that it's a cool way to express yourself. It doesn't necessarily have to "type" you, because someone can wear western wear and not be a cowboy, so it's also kind of a way that people get to play dressup. Like, the other day I saw a little girl in a tutu and she was just running around. And the truth is, if you look at a lot of runways, that's what couture looks like. It's like, "I don't really care what you think I look like. I'm going to wear a tutu today."

And I really like ComedyOlogy a lot. I really like stand up, and sketch comedy; I collected MAD magazines as a kid. I just like humor. And I think humor is the best reflction of what's happening immediately. To me, comedy is all about the present and the future, and it's ever evolving. Political satire--I think it's a great tool. Most people I know get news information from The Daily Show or Real Time with Bill Maher. So I think comedy is a good vehicle to get information.

Malese Jow - The Vampire Diaries

MALESE: Okay, I'm going to feel so weird saying this...maybe MusicOlogy?

OLOGY: Yeah, we have a section on the site that's called MusicOlogy!

Oh, I'd be hittin' that up! Let's see, JokesOlogy? BadJokesOlogy! (Laughs)

Okay, what's the worst joke you could tell right now?

Oh gosh, I don't know. Actually, BadPickupLinesOlogy would probably be a better one to talk about.

What are the worst pickup lines?

Just the cheesy ones! I mean, they come up and they're just like, "so can I get your number and stuff?" and it's like, you're not even gonna say hi or get to know me first? You're just gonna straight up ask for my number?" No, it's not happing!
