Are you ever really perplexed when you listen to Coldplay's "Clocks" and you get to the part where Chris Martin asks: "Am I a part of the cure, or am I a part of the disease?" Here's a helpful tip: If you hate LEGOs, chances are you do not have something in common with Robert Smith. Savvy? LEGOs are awesome and that's why The Guardian decided to re-skin some of the year's most memorable images for their 2011 in pictures in LEGO bricks. The re-creations of important 2011 events are surprisingly accurate, with only the rare hilarious deviation from the real-life photos. For example, check out Pres. Obama's hair in this vision of the situation room from which the Commander-in-Chief watched the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

You have to forgive The Guardian, though; LEGO pieces that approximate the President's actual haircut must be pretty rare. The rest of the LEGO 2011 in pictures is similar impressive. Here's Occupy Wall Street:

And the Royal Wedding:

These are amazing and I hope every 2011 in pictures has a LEGO component in the future.
