Let's be serious - Kim Kardashian's divorce couldn't have been better timed, as it nearly coincided with the season premiere of Kourtney and Kim Take New York which means we're all involuntarily left scouring each episode for clues of the imminent breakup. But something has been obviously absent from the show this season - half-sisters Kendall and Kylie.
We figured they were probably busy, right? Between the two of them, the pair has about a dozen modeling jobs on the runway and in mags like Paper and OK! - but it turns out their absence has been a bit more intentional. Hot on the heels of jewelry line announcements is news that Kendall and Kylie, aged 16 and 14 respectively, will be featured in three spin-off programs on E!, the network that's home to their reality TV empire. Bonnie Hammer, Chairman of NBCU Cable Entertainment said we can look forward to a few new Kardashian spin-offs, as the family seems to be on the winning side of their never-ending fight for relevancy. For now.
“I think it will have its own life expectancy and we’ll just go along with it and help hone what’s right for E! and what’s not right for E! as we develop a whole other world,” she said.
The premise is that we'll follow them from magazine shoots to runways, though Kendall has only booked the Abbey Dawn show (Avril Lavigne is Brody Jenner's on-again girlfriend) and a small Hello Kitty for Forever 21 fete. The only way this will be good if there are more episodes about Bruce, amirite?
