Ben Kingsley has been reported to be the newest cast member of Ender's Game. A little fun fact, he is also the first adult to join the project. Sir Kingsley will be working alongside his Hugo co-star Asa Buterfield as Ender Wiggin; as well as True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld as Petra Arkanian.
According to Sir Kingsley, he will play a “Legendary war hero presumed to be long dead.” For any diehard fan, like myself, it’s obvious who he is talking about Mazer Rackham. I need to give major props to fellow Ologist Matt Marquez because he predicted this back in March!
Even though there is still a lot more casting to do, these three actors are all extremely talented. If they can continue to attract more big name actors then for once a movie might actually be as good as the book! It's doubtful but I need to believe in that.
