Need a little more comedy during your day? Well then Ology has some great news for you. Jimmy Fallon announced today that he will release a comedy album next year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the late night host has signed on with Warner Music to create a new comedy CD. Senior Vice President Peter Strickland was more than happy to announce that partnership. "It is with great pride that we welcome Jimmy Fallon to our comedy family," Strickland said during an interview. Warner Music has worked with comedian legends, like Steve Martin and Jeff Foxworthy, so Fallon is sure to be in good hands.
The comedian released his first album, The Bathroom Wall, in August 2002, which consisted of songs and sketches. Since then, he spent time building his acting career through SNL, multiple movies, and his recent hosting gig. Fallon says the new album, set to be released in the summer, will feature new material as well as late-night favorite.
What do you want to see on the new album? The "History of Rap" series or perhaps "It's Not My Baby"? Let us know!
