Nicholas Cage can teach us so much. That we've always known (a stuffed bunny is an acceptable gift only if it's in a box. Always stab an twist, that way the wound won't close. It's better to parachute into love than fall into it.) But we had no idea the 47-year-old actor could do so much for Serbia's youth, especially when it comes to biology.

Turns out an image of Cage, and his Raising Arizona co-star Holly Hunter, had graced the cover of a 1998 eighth grade biology textbook. What an ex-criminal and a police officer who get married and later kidnap a baby from another family's set of quintuplets can teach Serbian middle-schoolers about the inability to reproduce – let alone anything relating to biology -- is beyond us. But if we know Cage, we know that just his image alone can do wonders. Just think of how many kids actually opened that book just because they were curious as to what health issues a kid born to a white trash couple (in appearance) could have?
And we also know that the image was probably just a random selection on the textbook company's part and it has nothing at all to do with biology. Actually, since the image appeared thanks to a Twitter user from the Southeast European country the book's designer has told belgraded.com that the cover was an 'honest mistake'. And added that it was pulled from print, even though a few copies actually made it into the classroom. A few copies that changed so many lives.
