Scottish indie rock group The Twilight Sad (one of the best bands you’re probably not listening to) have announced the release of their third studio album, No One Can Ever Know (out February 7). If you aren’t already fan, take a little intermission and listen to Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters and Forget The Night Ahead on Spotify before checking out the first single from their Andrew Weatherall-produced new LP, "Sick".
"We wanted to be a lot more spontaneous, get outside our comfort zone – not to fall back into repeating what we've done previously," explains guitarist Andy MacFarlane in a new press release. You can certainly hear the difference—early leak "Kill It In The Morning" (see above) mined a fantastically gloomy, early-‘80s post-punk sound and "Sick" feels like another interesting take on the early Factory Records sound.
