After the plans for the Oscars kind of imploded yesterday, there has been an awful lot of speculation about who is going to take over producing credits and hosting credits.

First, Brett Ratner announced that Eddie Murphy is hosting the Oscars.
Next, Brett Ratner went on what I call the Douchebagging Across America Tour.
Then Brett Ratner resigned from producing the Oscars.
And Eddie Murphy decided to quit as well.
So Brian Grazer decided to take over producing duties.
And especially, Ology threw out their top ten choices for the host.
Now, Academy Award hosting veteran Billy Crystal has announced that he is taking over hosting duties for this year's Oscars. Here is his tweet:
Crystal hasn't hosted the Oscars since 2004 and since then has lied pretty low on the celebrity radar. Recently I saw Crystal (in person) and I will tell you that probably the biggest comment that will result in his hosting is the regrettable face lift that rivals Bruce Jenner's in terms of ridiculousness.
However, knowing that Crystal is a veteran with this kind of thing, I have the utmost faith in Crystal to put out a decent show. 'Cause seriously, who doesn't absolutely love When Harry Met Sally.
