Producer Brian Grazer has been offered and accepted the role of producer for this year's Academy Awards, now in shambles since the exits of Brett Ratner and Eddie Murphy, who quit as solidarity to Ratner. Grazer's actually even a bigger Hollywood player than Ratner, the owner of Imagine Entertainment, for which Ratner produced Tower Heist. But the hosting issue remains. Who will it be? Russell Brand? Too offensive. Ricky Gervaise? Too offensive. Neil Patrick Harris? Too... yeah, no, it'll probably be Neil Patrick Harris.

Among the speculation comes a jokey Melissa Leo "Consider" parody campaign (she's never gonna live that down) for the Muppets as hosts. Which would actually be kind of incredible. Eddie who?
Ratner resigned from the gig in the wake of controversy regarding statements he made on the Tower Heist press tour about Olivia Munn and other offensive sh*t ("Rehearsing is for f*gs"). Yeesh.
