Supernatural's Jared Padalecki first announced the exciting news that he and wife Genevieve Cortese were expecting their first baby via Twitter and now we know the sex! Jared recently spilled to Tonic.com that he and Genevieve will be having a baby boy!
"The outcry of love and support, by way of Twitter, that we received...was so moving and touching that we were once again reminded of how blessed and fortunate we have been." The baby is due in March and Jared went on to discuss becoming a first time dad. "I originally had the intuition that it would be a girl--shows what I know!"
To the actor though, the sex of the baby never was a huge deal. "As cheesy as it sounds, I really want, and wanted, nothing more than a healthy baby." And baby names? "With Gen being an English major, and me being the song of an English major, and both of us loving to read, we have taken to reading all of the books that we can. We've thrown around countless names, probably every one in the books and a few that we kind of made up. But we both agree that we'd like to meet our child before we decide [on] a name."
As long as its not something like Apple or Banjo, any name would look good on Jared's baby boy! Especially if he gets some of daddy's looks!
