If you haven't been following Kelly Dwyer, editor of Ball Don't Lie, on Twitter during this NBA lockout, you really should. In addition to his usual story links, he conveys depression over the lockout better than anyone who uses the 140-character medium. Anywho, BDL posted a story today about New York Knicks guard Andy Rautins moving back in with his parents. Let it be known that when an athlete moves back in with his parents, SportsOlogy covers it. New York Jets safety Eric Smith briefly returned home during the short-lived NFL lockout, and we wrote the sh*t out of that story. Since we have steadfastly predicted the loss of the entire NBA season, though, Andy might be back home for a while.
You may scoff at a professional athlete's claims of an impoverished life, but Andy Rautins is not one of the players who made millions of dollars last season. The former Syracuse star made $200,000, which doesn't exactly inspire sympathy, but it's easy to spend what you make. Now he's living with his moms. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, ANDY! A lot of locked out NBA heads still live with they moms.
Hey, momma do the laundry, mommy pay the bills. You should think about staying, Andy. Thirstin Howl III supports you:
