The truth has finally come out! It's confirmed that Dancing With The Stars pro dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Derek Hough "hate each other!" A source is stating that the feud that happened last week rehashed some old feelings that the two men have had toward one another.
"The professional dance community is really small. The dancers have known one another their entire lives...Now that the group is famous, it's added a whole other level of rivalry and competitiveness." A source close to the stage set also mentions that Maks perhaps began the feud because of something he may have done after dating Derek's sister Julianne Hough. "Julianne told Maks she didn't want to have a serious relationship..." So when the two went their separate ways and Julianne started dating Ryan Seacrest, Maks began to spread "false rumors that Julianne was cheating on Ryan with Maks."
If this is true, which it is completely sad (and I don't believe it) if it is, than Derek was probably at his wits end when Maks went off on Judge Len Goodman and without thinking stated that it was 'his' DWTS show. Therefore, he was probably fuming in rage once Maks later on topped it off by calling Derek out on Good Morning America the following Wednesday. Derek confirmed that frustration by commenting to Us, "I had a laugh about that [comment]. I was looking at the plaque upstairs and...well, never mind."
Burn. And kind of a jerk move. But what did you expect would be his reaction when Maks made that comment on national television?
This just is spiraling out of control and even though Derek seemed to be the better actor, Maks just couldn't hide it from the rest of us. His expressions from this past weeks show's were like he wasn't even present. Not even a stare to the judges when they gave their comments and not even an answer long enough to grab an audience's attention when Brooke Burke would ask him a question.
Derek may have 'called him out' first by not standing up for Maks when he first ignited a fight with Len, but now their back story with one another may have begun to show that Derek had already had his moments with Maks piling up. Seriously, we know what they need to do. Just make up already and take the realistic route.
