Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski started a minor buzz earlier this week when porn star Bibi Jones posted pictures of she and Gronkowski to her Twitter account. But there appears to be more to this sordid little story.
It appears that sports agent Terry Bross has been using Jones to lure clients his way -- like, he would introduce athletes to Jones, Jones would have sex with them, and then then the athletes would sign with Bross.
Bross would "kind of use me to get baseball players to sign him as an agent," Jones spilled to a Boston radio station. She said that in 2010 she slept with at least 10 baseball players Bross had introduced her to, specifically mentioning Braves second baseman Dan Uggla.
"[Bross] would just take me to a bar and introduce me after a Diamondbacks game in Arizona," the adult film star said. "You know, baseball players would come and I'd introducee myself. And then I got to hook up with baseball players and have fun. It was like a dream come true because I love athletes and baseball's my favorite sport."
In 2010, Uggla's Marlins played in Arizona in early July. Later that month Uggla signed with Bross. That offseason Bross negotiated Uggla's $62 million contract with the Atlanta Braves.
Jones says, however, that Bross never paid her to have sex with the athletes.
"It was just like I was arm candy for him," she told Business Insider. "I was the one that wanted to hook up with these guys."
