Nothing to see here folks, just another run-of-the-mill high school basketball coach bites 15-year-old student in the face story. This kind of thing happens all the time.
Indianapolis Emmerich Manual High School girls basketball coach Trevor Borom has been suspended without pay for allegations of starting a fist fight with a male student in the front yard of one of his player's houses, and then biting the student in the face while they grappled in the grass. And by "allegations," I mean that it was recorded on video.

As the story goes, according to Indianapolis FOX 59 WXIN, Borom showed up at the house of one of his freshman players -- when there were no adults present, mind you -- to talk to her about her grades, and her role on the team. 15-year-old Stefan Caldwell, a friend of the player whom Borom apparently deems a "bad influence," was also present. According to Caldwell, Borom invited him out the the front yard so Borom could "whup his ass."
Caldwell obliged, he said, thinking it was a joke. He then and instructed a friend to start video taping after Borom threw a real punch. The video shows the two circling one another like a couple of prize fighters*, ducking in and out throwing punches at one another. Then the two grab hold of one another and go to the ground, where Caldwell claims Borom bit him in the face**. The bite is not clearly caught on tape, but Caldwell did record images of the bitemarks.
Borom's team was 8-10 last season.
Just another day at SportsOlogy. Gonna file this one in our stack in our "high school basketball coach bites kid in the face" drawer, if there's anymore room left. We really need to hire a full-time prep sports editor.
*I understand that comparing them to prize fighters could be a stretch, but just wait.
