Stop right there! It looks to me like you were about to celebrate Halloween without a Yoda pumpkin of your very own! I wouldn't feel right calling myself a GeekOlogist if I didn't do everything in my power to keep you from making this terrible mistake. Halloween may already be the geekiest holiday ever created (except, of course, for Pi Day), but that doesn't mean there isn't room for an additional Star Wars reference. There's always room for a Star Wars reference, even on your front stoop! Wisdom of the Jedi Masters, this is. Learn it well, GeekOlogy padawan.
In case you want to geek up your Halloween, here's a Yoda pumpkin! Creator Joseph Y. of Norwalk, CA has this to say:
I copied some photos of Yoda from Star Wars. Three pumpkins were used. One for the head, one for the body and one for the ears and hands. Attached parts with barbecue skewers and floral pins. Added plastic eyes and some old burlap for the robe. I used clay-sculpting tools and an X-Acto blade.
And here it is!
I approve with so much Force that the sheer power of my admiration would probably destroy a planet. Someone warn Alderaan.
