It's pretty obvious that the Ninja Turtles are turtles. No one's denying that they're teenagers. And they're obviously mutants. But let's go ahead and ask the tough question: Are the Ninja Turtles really ninjas? Sure, they use ninja weapons and martial arts, but they generally take on their foes in open battle. They don't really sneak around or kill people or engage in any other ninja extracurriculars. So are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles really ninjas at all?
Yes. Yes, they are. And a new Tumblr called Teenage Mutant Ninja Noses will prove it to you. It turns out that the Ninja Turtles have hidden from us for years... on the world's faces (famous and otherwise). The Tumblr highlights the Ninja Turtle Noses all around us by drawing Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael onto the noses of unsuspecting victims.
I'm taking a few of my favorite photos from the Tumblr, just so you can get a slice of this delicious Internet pizza, but you should definitley stop by the site proper for the latest. Ology can handle only so many ninjas before it reaches critical geek mass and goes supernova, destroying the entire Internet in a firestorm of awesome.
