Watch: Primal Scream Premiere "It's Alright, It's OK" Video
Primal Scream's new album More Light (out June 18) features more than just highly-publicized cameos from Robert Plant and My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields and Debbie Googe: judging from the video to new song "It's Alright, It's OK," the album (their first since 2008's Beautiful Future) also presents a return to the psychedelic, gospel-inflected rock of their 1991 masterpiece Screamadelica.

Remember 17-year-old, viral teen star CJ Holland? You have to! The Nashville native was famously discovered on YouTube by Ellen DeGeneres and was invited on her show to perform his cover of "The Girl Is Mine" with friend (and one of Ology's faves) Dakota Bradley. That was about a year ago. Now, CJ's turning heads and perking ears with his own music, which is clearly inspired by artists like Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake.
I'm telling you, remember this guy! Not only is CJ a talented singer, but the kid's got moves! We talked with CJ to get the dirt on how his life has changed over the past year and where he sees it heading. His debut single, "Night and Day," is now available for download on his website. GET IT. And check out the teaser below!
How is your life different than it was one year ago?
Last year, I was up in my bedroom pretending I was on a stage singing to thousands of people and dreaming that I'd get a chance to be an entertainer. So in a year, I'd say things have changed pretty drastically.
When did you first start realizing that you wanted to seriously pursue music?
Ever since I got the opportunity to perform with *NSYNC when I was 8, on stage with them in front of thousands of people. That was a defining moment in my life.
That's awesome! So describe your thought process when Ellen DeGeneres called you. In three words.
WHAT!?! Really???? Sweet.
Haha. So do you get recognized now? What's that like?
I've been recognized a few times, but not a lot (laughs). But it's pretty cool. It's something I'm still getting used to.
Have you been starstruck yet? Who would cause you to be totally starstruck?
Yes, I'd have to say when I met the Jackson's. I was speechless. I was so in awe. I really had no idea what to do.
Do you and Dakota ever still sing together?
Yeah, definitely, whenever we have time. It's fun just to sing random songs every once and a while.
Which songs are on your ipod rotation right now?
"Sunset Driver" by Michael Jackson, "We Are The People" by Empire of the Sun, "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns N' Roses, and "One Last Cry" by Brian McKnight.
Eclectic! Biggest inspiration for music and dance?
Well, I have many, but I'd have to say my biggest was Michael Jackson.
If you could duet with anyone, who would it be?
Probably Beyoncé. I think it'd be really great to perform with her.
Definitely! So what do you have in the works right now?
Well, I'm working on my album, traveling all over the country, working with everyone in the industry and trying to make it perfect.
How would you describe your music to new listeners?
I think I'd have to say pop/r&b, kind of like JT (Justin Timberlake).
What else do you like to do for fun?
That's a funny question. All I really do is dance and sing. I really love it, so thats what I do for fun.
Our site is all about passions. We call them "ologies." What are your top 3 Ologies?
