NYCC: Top Five Quotes Overheard At NYCC

On Oct 17, 2011

Let us raise a glass of Ramune, friends, to the end of New York Comic Con 2011. Ology had an absolute blast hitting the show floor, attending the awesome panels and interacting with both fans and exhibitors. Given the chance, we'd do it all again... we'd maybe just nap for a couple of days straight, first. Since we haven't yet acquired a company TARDIS, however, we'll just have to rely on the New York Comic Con 2011 homepage and our memories.

During our stay at NYCC, we managed to overhear some priceless geeky quotes--and by keeping up with the #OverheardAtNYCC hashtag on Twitter, we've pulled together our five favorite lines from the weekend. I present to you... the very finest of Overheard At NYCC.

5. "I don't want to talk about the economy. I don't know anything about that. I want to talk about nerd stuff."

Can't you picture Tony Stark saying this to a bunch of sniveling Stark Industries investors?

4. "Dude, you haven't seen SPACED? I don't want to know you right now."

Thankfully, revoking your friendship is easy with Ology's new De-Frienderizer 3000! Guaranteed to cancel all existing bonds of friendship in five minutes or your money back!

3. "Your mama's so fat, she needs cheat codes for WiiFit!"

Diss of the con? Diss of the con.

2. "The Avengers need to effing assemble already."

Said during the long wait for the Avengers panel. Very possibly spoken by the man himself, Benny "The Body" Gammerman.

1. "The number of Doctor cosplayers is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside."

Truer words, anonymous witty con-goer. Truer words.

Add your own quotes in the comments, and make sure to read all our NYCC content.
