There is now a robot that will bring you a sandwich. inb4 misogyny!
The robot in question is named PR2 and is famous for serving up delicious baked goods at MIT. Now, University of Tokyo researchers have programmed the robot to use semantic search and a database of nearby objects and environments in order to locate a sandwich. PR2 will check the fridge for lunch, but if no glorious sandwich treasures lie inside, it's smart enough to cruise over to the nearest Subway in search of your grub. You can see PR2's sandwich-fetching skills in the video below. Impressive, right?!
