The Transformers movies might be of somewhat dubious quality, but--at least lately--the Transformers games have been pretty legit. Case in point: Transformers: War for Cybertron, a respectable entry in the team-shooter genre. T: WfC (one of my new favorite video game acronyms) allowed players to step into the robot shoes of Autobots and Decepticons alike--and now a new title from developer High Moon Studios promises another chance to fight the good (or bad) fight.
The just-announced Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a new action game bound for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, set to launch in fall 2012. Not much is known beyond this handful of details, but, yay, more Transformers! Game Informer's planning to reveal more information leading up to their latest issue, in which Fall of Cybertron will be featured. What we know at this stage is that Grimlock is in and that he is totally a dinosaur. If this is not enough for you, my friend, I don't know what else will be.
I dug War for Cybertron and hope to lead the Autobots to victory again ASAP.
