Tom Hardy + 'Mad Max' = Awesome

This rumor has been around for a while but now that there are possible photos, I think that it's time we start getting excited. Apparently they're remaking Mad Max (remake/reboot/prequel kind of thing. It's hard to say which term is most appropriate) and apparently it's going to star my one true love Tom Hardy. This may not be the biggest news, considering Ology reported on this a little more than a year ago, but more facts are trickling in about it, and it gives me a huge film boner. If you haven't seen Warrior yet, you should, because Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton are incredible. Photographic evidence of that here:

Collider (and FilmDrunk) have reported that these photos are the first cars from the new Mad Max movie which would also star Charlize Theron. Tom Hardy (who will lay the title role) has mentioned that the film will go into production in April. This will give Hardy a little break in between finishing the filming of Dark Knight Rises and jumping into a postapocalyptic muscle car. Poor guy. At this rate he will never be able to pig out- his muscles will slowly start to take over his body. You'll point and say "See that moving trap muscle? There used to be a person under there. He was a fine actor."
