It's been damn long since Outkast dropped Idlewind, and while we only got some whispers about a possible new album set for next year awhile back, reports from The Hollywood Reporter might be raising the volume to prove them true.
So says the sources, Three Stacks and Big Boi are supposedly inking a group deal with Epic Records under the influence of their former label super Antonio "L.A." Reid has moved over to a high seat at the label. There's not much more than that, but the words surely give a little more anchor to the floating balloon rumors we've been clutching over the past few months.
We'll see what happens as things move along. We're getting some sounds from Big Boi not too far from now, which is fine, but God knows we'd all prefer a full Outkast album.
