NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Many ladies love their handbags and will spend a lot of money for the latest and greatest, but a new study says what is inside those bags may be covered in germs worse than what you’ll find in the bathroom.
It was only yesterday that a co-worker of mine begged Marc Jacobs (through the computer screen, of course) to stop wearing kilts on the runway, and though I wholly disagreed with her disapproval, it turns out Mr. Jacobs isn't promoting his own brand via his modified trousers — those kilts are Prada! But beyond being endlessly adorable, Marc Jacobs is impossibly talented. CNN's Alina Cho sat down with the designer about said kilts, and they eventually circle back around to that big Dior rumor.
On being the most adorable human, second only to Alber Elbaz: I'm always nervous. I'm a total nervous wreck all
of the time, or most of the time. I'm very, you know... I'm always
questioning my choices, and I'm always re-looking at things. But I don't
think there's anything wrong with it, I don't think that that's a
negative thing.
On his impetus: I instinctively react to things that stimulate me. I mean, it could be anything, things that have affected me in the past couple of months. The weather hass affected me....the death of Amy Winehouse and moving into my new place.
On those kilts we love/hate: I like wearing skirts, I like wearing kilts. I started like a few years ago. I moved from kilts into pencil skirts. I wear now mostly Prada pencil skirts. I like to do the things that make me feel good, and that make me feel happy, that don't hurt other people.
