Two things always come to mind when anyone mentions Darryl Hannah. One, protestor. Two, that really sinister and unpleasant whistling that follows her everywhere she goes in those Quentin Tarantino films.
This time, its the protestor side of Hannah we're dealing with. According to TMZ, the actress was taken away in handcuffs Tuesday outside the White House during an oil pipeline protest. The actor isn't new to getting arrested though. She last got in trouble in 2009 for a Coal River protest in West Virginia.
Good for her. Its nice to see that someone in the public eye still makes a stand for changes they want made instead of just throwing money at the problem.
Oh, wait. She was also that mermaid in that Tom Hanks flick.
