Meet Vampire Cole In 'inFAMOUS 2: Festival Of Blood'

The Ology Team .
GeekOlogy

Did you play inFAMOUS 2 and go, "Man, that was a fun superhero action game, but you know what'd make it better? Vampires!" If so, then man, do I have some great news for you: Gamescom has given us insight into an upcoming inFAMOUS project called inFAMOUS 2: Festival of Blood, in which the city of New Marais falls victim to a vampire infestation. Cole himself is bitten by one of the undead and subsequently joins their ranks; to return to the land of the living, he must find and destroy the leader of the vampires before the night is over.

inFAMOUS 2: Festival of Blood is planned as a downloadable game set for an October 2011 release--it looks like a standalone title from where I'm standing. I basically understand this out-of-left-field title as the inFAMOUS equivalent of Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption. The trailer that accompanied the announcement doesn't reveal too much about the upcoming project, but it does give you a look at vampire!Cole:

You guys think this is awesome? Random? Sound off.
